10 Non-Scale goals to focus on this month

I’m starting off the month at 215 lbs, and to be honest I’m done caring only about the number on the scale. This month instead of tracking on the scale I am going to be focused on one (or two) of these goals. Which one will you use?

  1. Running speed - One of my goals this month is to be able to complete a 5k in under 45 mins

  2. Dress Size - I have been a size 14 for a while now and I’m hoping to get to a 12 within the next few weeks

  3. Appetite Control - Being able to fight off cravings and temptations might be the best health goal ever 

  4. Lift heavier- When was the last time you increased the weight during your workout? Test your strength by incrementally adding more weight

  5. A whole Gallon of water - Hows that water intake? Is it up to a gallon? How about half?

  6. Go to sleep - Getting enough sleep is a part of your overall health so make sure you are getting as close to 8 hrs as possible. 

  7. Clear skin - eating healthier and drinking more water can definitely improve your skin so add this to your goal list

  8. Recovery Time - If you are regularly challenging your body it will adapt and your recovery between workouts will be better

  9. Blood pressure and all that - How are your vitals, head to your health provider and make sure your blood pressure, cholesterol are in good shape too. 

  10. How you feel - A healthier lifestyle typically results in general improvement of mood.
